Conversion error: The account for “BookvalueAccountID” is the wrong class

The following message may appear when converting to AgExpert Analyst 2013:

Abort: The account for “BookvalueAccountID” is the wrong class.

If this error continues, call FCC Management Software at 1-800-667-7893 for help.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Open AgExpert Analyst 2012-04/2012-05.
  2. Select CCA schedule from the Setup menu.
  3. Edit each CCA class, ensuring that the capital asset account (on non-10.1 assets) or book value account (on 10.1 assets) is valid. The account must be a Capital Asset type and either a detail or subaccount. 
  4. Click Save.
  5. Retry the conversion to AgExpert Analyst 2013.
