Viewing the Production Unit Costing report

The Production Unit Costing report lists the costs for different production units. Production units are the inventory units you’ve set up in your inventory accounts (for example, tonne, head, bushels, litres, etc.). You’ll be able to get feedback, on a per unit basis, from the information that you’ve entered into your AgExpert Analyst accounting system.

To view a Production Unit Costing report:

  1. Select Operational Benchmarking from the Management menu. The Operational Benchmarking dialogue box appears.
  2. Select Production Unit Costing from the menu panel on the left.
  3. Specify the following:
    • Type - The Summary report calculates a total cost for all selected income accounts and for all selected expense accounts, plus a net income value. The By account report includes everything on the summary, plus a total production cost for each selected account. The By enterprise report calculates the total production cost by enterprise for each selected account. If you select this, click the Enterprises link to select the enterprises you want to include in the report.
