Custom Settings 

There are customizable settings in AgExpert Field that allows some flexibility on how you record activities and the information that you see.

To access Settings, go to More on the left navigation bar, and click Settings.

There are 3 sections where you can customize your AgExpert Field experience.

Measurement Units allow you to select if you track your land size by acres or by hectares.  If you have fields setup and need to change your measurement unit label, the number of acres/hectares must be updated manually – AgExpert Field will not convert existing measurement units.

Custom units allow you to set up alternative units to use when tracking your commodities.  This can be useful when tracking your input costs when you purchase in something other than weight or volume.  For example, if you purchase herbicide by the jug, you can set a custom unit to say a jug is 3.5 L.

Finally, in Commodity types, you can let the system know if you produce certain commodities.  Turn on the appropriate switches if you grow grains, pulses, or oilseeds, or if you are a potato producer.
