Connecting FM PRO Mobile and Field Manager PRO Desktop

 

  1. Create an account in FM PRO Mobile on your smartphone.
  2. Set up a share on the Field Manager PRO Desktop for each user you’re sharing with.
    • Select File>Sync with FM PRO Mobile. 
    • Click Share and add the users.
    • Click Sync to export the file from Field Manager PRO Desktop to the FCC Management Software server (cloud). All shares will have access to a copy of your file.
  3. Sign in to FM PRO Mobile on your smartphone.
  4. Click on your farm under Select Farm to download the data file from the FCC Management Software server.
  5. Use FM PRO Mobile to add inputs, operations, observations and/or harvest records to the data file. To sync information to the FCC Management Software server: 
    • Click  to sync data from smartphone #1, smartphone #2 and smartphone #3 to the FCC Management Software server.
  6. Sync to Field Manager PRO Desktop from the FCC Management Software server to update the desktop file. 
    • From Field Manager PRO Desktop, select File>Sync with FM PRO Mobile. The Field Manager PRO Desktop will now have records from smartphone #1, smartphone #2 and smartphone #3. 
      • Note: This step amalgamates everything that was sync’d to the server from the various devices used during the day. Once the desktop file has amalgamated a fresh copy, it’s sent to all of the folders you’re sharing with on the server. The complete file is now available for your users to download and use.
    • You’ll need to repeat steps 3 to 6 each time you open FM PRO Mobile.
