Managing subfields
AgExpert allows you to subdivide a field into smaller sections for more detailed management.
Select Fields from the left menu
Select the field you wish to subdivide.
Click Manage subfields.
Click Add on the right slide-out.
Use the white dots to draw an outline of your subfield and type in a name on the right. The acres will be automatically calculated for you, but you can overwrite the values if needed. Your subfield borders do not have to follow any existing field borders, but they can’t overlap the large field border, nor overlap with the borders of other subfields.
Click Add on the right to start a new subfield. Again use the white dots to draw the outline of your subfield and type in a name on the right.
When done adding subfields, click Save.
You can remove a subfield by clicking an ‘x’ on the right-hand side, which will remove the subfield from the map and the subfield list.
While in the Manage subfields page, you can edit the border of each field. Click the subfield and use the white dots to adjust the borders.
AgExpert will re-calculate the area of the field on the right-hand side.
Click Save when finished.
