The following message may appear when you install AgExpert Analyst:

Error 1335: The cabinet file 'xxx.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.

This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the DVD-ROM, or a problem with the software package.

To resolve this issue, try one or more of the following:

  1. Reboot the machine and retry the installation.
  2. Clean the CD-ROM. Use a soft cloth to gently clean the disc.
  3. Run the install locally by copying the installation files to your local hard drive.
  4. Using Windows Explorer, browse to the location of the installation files (for example, if the installation is on a CD, browse to the CD-ROM drive).
  5. Copy all of the contents of the installation location.
  6. Temporarily paste them to a location on your local hard drive (for example, the Desktop).
  7. Run the install file (for example, setup.exe or install.exe.)
