Using the Detailed Inventory Manager 

Use the Detailed Inventory Manager to manage and review your inventory and income and expense accounts.

Select Detailed Inventory Manager from the Inventory menu. The Detailed Inventory Manager dialogue box opens, displaying two tabs: Inventory Accounts and Income and Expense Accounts.


Inventory Accounts

The Inventory Accounts tab displays all active inventory accounts in your chart of accounts and the associated commodity type. Three colours are used to show the status of each inventory account:

  1. Blue-shaded inventory accounts are set up for detailed inventory transactions and have the following settings:
  2. White-shaded inventory accounts haven’t been set up for detailed inventory transactions and have the following settings:
  3. Red-shaded inventory accounts are set up for detailed inventory transactions but are missing some transaction details:

Income and Expense Accounts

The Income and Expense Accounts tab displays all income and expense accounts and allows you to make changes to AgriStability reports and how you manage inventory. Two colours are used to show the status of the accounts: 

  1. Blue-shaded accounts are correctly set up to track detailed inventory and have the following settings:
  2. White-shaded accounts haven’t been set up to track detailed inventory or are accounts that can’t track detailed inventory. They have the following settings:
