Error: Cost of Production shows a negative amount for debit to expense in general journal entry

Fixed in version: 2014-01

In previous versions of AgExpert Analyst, if you use a General Journal dialogue box entry to debit an expense account, the amount will appear as a negative in the Allocate Commodities dialogue box (Management>Operational Benchmarking>Cost of Production>Allocate commodities).

You won’t be able to allocate the amount to a commodity.

Solution

If you need the cost of production, then enter the transaction through the regular Transaction entry dialogue box.
