Changing your computer date settings

To change your short date settings to display the date as DD/MMM/YY:

For Windows XP:

  1. Close AgExpert Analyst.
  2. Open the Start menu.
  3. Open the Control Panel.
  4. Click Regional and Language Options.
  5. Change your regional options from English (Canada) to English (United States).
  6. Click Customize.
  7. Click the Date tab.
  8. Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY.
  9. Click Apply.
  10. Click Apply.

For Windows Vista :

  1. Close AgExpert Analyst.
  2. Open the Start menu.
  3. Open the Control Panel.
  4. Click Clock, Language, and Region.
  5. Click Regional and Language Options
  6. Ensure that your Format is English (Canada).
  7. Click Customize this format.
  8. Click the Date tab.
  9. Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY.
  10. Click Apply.
  11. Click Apply.

For Windows 7:

  1. Close AgExpert Analyst.
  2. Open the Start menu.
  3. Open the Control Panel.
  4. Click Region and Language.
  5. Click Regional and Language Options.
  6. Ensure that your Format is English (Canada).
  7. Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY.
  8. Click Apply.

For Windows 8:

  1. Close AgExpert Analyst.
  2. Open the Charm Bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Control panel.
  5. Click Clock, Language, and Region.
  6. Click Region.
  7. Ensure that your Format is English (Canada).
  8. Change the Short date format to DD/MMM/YY or DD/MMM/YYYY.
  9. Click Apply.

Once you’ve applied these settings, the change will be reflected in your software the next time you open it.
