Field Manager PRO / PRO 360 Tip of the of Month - news and helpful advice to help you get the most from your Field Manager PRO / PRO 360 Software.

«  Tip of the Month

All FCC software products include a format called Table View on certain reports. This format eliminates things like margins and page orientation, giving you the most information in a flexible format. Here are the most important buttons for you to know when customizing a report in the Table View format:

  1. The first customization is about the information contained in the report.  The  button allows you to choose which columns to include in your report. Most reporting only requires a specific grouping of columns. Allowing you to hide the columns you don’t need means your report can be more focussed and easier to read.
  2. The next step will be to click on the  (Print) button at the top left hand corner of the window. This allows you to preview the report.
  3. Next, format the actual page your report will print on. Do you prefer landscape or portrait? Click on the   (Page Setup) button to control paper size, margins and the orientation.
  4. That may be as far as you need to take it and you can print the report.  Sometimes there’s still too much information which brings us to our final tip in relation to the Table View reports.
  5. To automatically resize the text of your report so that all of the information fits to a single page width, click on the     (Scale) button. In the Scale window you can set the report to a specific zoom percentage for printing or (my favorite) set it to fit 1 page wide.
