Field Manager PRO / PRO 360 Tip of the of Month - news and helpful advice to help you get the most from your Field Manager PRO / PRO 360 Software.
When you set up for the new crop year, be sure to review and clean up any inventory that may be hanging around from the previous crop year. This will ensure that what Field Manager PRO and Field Manager PRO 360 say you have on hand is what you actually have on hand. When reviewing your inventory for corrections, take note of the crop year(s) that the inventory comes from and any storage locations affected.
Here's how to clean up.
- Imagine you’ve sold all of last year’s grain, but inventory shows you still have 0.657 tonnes on hand.
- Review your inventory reports to determine the source of the inventory and whether it’s part of a storage location.
- Go back into the crop year where the inventory originates and adjust one harvest entry for that commodity. This will give you a nice zero for that crop year, and help you correct your storage location amounts.
- When choosing which harvest(s) to edit, pick the ones that are tied to the storage locations that need to be corrected.
