Upgrading your database

If you have a previous version of Field Manager Commercial installed, you have to upgrade your database when you install the new version. To do this:

  1. Log in to Field Manager Commercial on the computer with the database server.
  2. Open Field Manager Commercial. The following message appears:
  3. Click Yes. The Log in dialogue box appears.
  4. Log in as an administrator. The Back Up Data File dialogue box appears. You must back up your database before continuing the upgrade. The upgrade automatically occurs after you’ve completed the backup. The following message appears when the database is upgraded:
  5. Click OK. You can now work in the upgraded database.
