How To Use The Orange Plus Button
What you need to know:
There are multiple ways to get to the transaction screen, but the Orange Plus Button (also known as the Quick Action Menu) at the top right of your screen allows you to enter all non-payroll transactions easily from one button.
What you need to do:
Have your receipt(s) from retailers and/or customers available to start entering transactions.
How to (Step by Step):
Click the Quick Action Menu (Orange Plus Button) and choose one of the following transaction types:
Deposit: Click to start a deposit transaction. A deposit would typically be a situation where you have received payment for a sale immediately, or money went into your account right away.
Receivable charge: Click to start a receivable charge transaction. A receivable charge is a situation in which a product or service is delivered, but payment will not be received until a later date. This would be a short period of time, usually under 90 days.
Withdrawal: Click to start a withdrawal transaction. A withdrawal would typically be a situation in which you are paying for the item or service as you receive it.
Payable charge: Click to start a payable charge transaction. A payable charge would typically be a situation in which you are receiving a product or service and paying for the item or service at a later date. This would be a short period of time, usually under 90 days.
Note: You can select the Upload file icon next to any of the transaction type buttons to choose a file from your computer. If you select it, it will be attached to the transaction. You can choose to enter it right away with Review now, or choose Review later to have it appear on your Pending Transactions page to complete at another time.
