Conversion error: The transaction date for the capital asset sale is before the capital asset’s date of purchase

The following message may appear when converting to AgExpert Analyst 2013:

Abort: The transaction date for the capital asset sale is before the capital asset’s date of purchase. The capital asset was purchased on […].

If this error continues, call FCC Management Software at 1-800-667-7893 for help.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Open AgExpert Analyst 2012-04/2012-05.
  2. Select Capital assets from the Setup menu.
  3. Select any capital assets that have been sold and click Edit. Ensure that the purchase date is before the sale date.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Retry the conversion to AgExpert Analyst 2013.
