How to connect to Flinks
Flinks allows AgExpert users to integrate with online banking to import your transactions directly from your financial institution. It is a secure, one-way pull of transactions to assist with making your data entry more efficient.
1. From the AgExpert Accounting dashboard, click Banking on the left, and then click Bank accounts.
2. You will be given a list of accounts that have been setup as either a Bank account or a Credit Card account. Each account must be connected separately if you want to import transactions.
3. To connect Flinks to an account, click Connect.
4. Click Connect with Flinks.
5. The consent terms will open on the right. Click Continue after reading the terms of consent of the connection, and then click agree and continue.
6. Select your financial institution from the list provided. Please note that not all institutions are in this list. Only the institutions that have a connection with Flinks will appear here.
7. Enter your online banking credentials for that account and click Continue.
8. Verify your identity by answering the multi-factor authentication question and click Continue.
9. Flinks will validate your information and give a list of your current bank accounts. Select the bank account that you are attempting to connect and click Continue.
10. Select the download start date for your transactions and click Done. Flinks will now search for all pending transactions that are ready to be imported.
11. You can click on the transactions under the pending transactions column to start importing your entries.
12. Next, simply click on an entry, update the missing fields, review the information and click Save and next. Continue entering transactions in this fashion until all of the entries for that period have been completed.
13. From the bank accounts screen, you can click the Update button to check if there are new transactions ready to be imported. Please note that you will need to re-enter your bank credentials every time you wish to synchronise the transactions.
14. Lastly, please note that only the account owner or accountant type access can connect or disconnect from Flinks.
