Importing Activities from John Deere

 

Click More on the left and click MyFarmConnect.



 Click the John Deere Tile.



Click Update on the right. 

 

 

If prompted, select the organization from the drop down menu and click Continue. 


 

Note: If at some point you receive an error after selecting an organization, you may need to login to the MyJohnDeere portal and under Connections find the AgExpert tile, click on it, and then allow FCC AgExpert as an organization by clicking the Save button. 

 

After clicking Continue and getting fully authenticated you will be brought to the following screen where you will be able to import your fields from MyJohnDeere. You can either add fields or select "Existing Fields" to update their boundaries. Select all the fields you wish to import. Please note that you cannot import the same field twice and that after you import the field it will dissapear from the list. You can also change the ownership status on the right.

If you have already setup your fields and boundaries you can click the the Skip to activities button below. 

 

Activities that a show status of ready will be able to be selected and imported by clicking Import selected activities below. Activities that need to have their inputs setup will have a status of Review.

Click Review to open up the activity details window on the right. In order to import an activity the inputs in AgExpert must match those from MyJohnDeere. Select the matching input, and verify all information. When completed click Save & import.  The activity will now show a Ready status, as well as all other activities AgExpert detects used the same input(s). You can now select all the Ready activities and click Import selected activities to import them.
