AgExpert Field - Palliser Integration Instructions
Backed by decades of experience and expertise between Palliser Direct and AgExpert, the latest MyFarmConnect integration guides farmers step-by-step through purchasing a hail insurance policy. Information tracked in AgExpert—including legal land locations, planted crops and seeded acres—seamlessly integrates with Palliser Direct to maximize efficiency when applying for hail insurance.
Setup your fields
1. To get started, visit www.agexpert.ca and log into to your AgExpert account.
2. We will need to add our fields in AgExpert in order to enter planting activities and create quotes for Palliser direct.
3. Clicks Fields on the left and ensure you’ve added your fields.
4. Next let’s enter a planting activity. Click Activities on the left and click Add activity. Select ‘Plant’ as the activity type. Select one of the fields you created above and then click Next. Click the Choose button next to ‘Seed’ and click Add a new seed. Select any Crop from the list and any variety. Fill in any price, rate and conversion amount, then press Save. Press Save again to record the activity.
5. Now let’s connect AgExpert to Palliser direct. Click More on the left and then click MyFarmConnect.
6. Click on the Palliser tile
7. Click on the link that says ‘Log in or register’ to launch to Palliser.
8. Login to your account.
9. Next, from Palliser, click “Your account” in the top right and go to Integrations.
10. Click Connect.
11. Next click Manage to select the farms you want to let Palliser have access to and click Allow access.
12. Next let’s create a quote from the Palliser Direct dashboard. Click Create Quote. Select the farm business and click next step. Review the address information and click Next step.
13. The quote should populate with the field, crop and planting information you previously added in AgExpert Field. Select the planting activities you want to create a quote for and click Next step. Review the applicant details and click Next step. Review the summary of the quote and click Submit and pay below.
