SWAT MAPS improve farming with smart technology, practical tools, and agronomy expertise.  AgExpert premium users can integrate SWAT maps to capture and leverage this data for a variety of beneficial purposes, including for the 4R incentive program. 


1.    To get started visit agexpert.ca, click Sign in- and login to your account. 

2.    Click Go to AgExpert Field. 

3.    Click More on the left and click MyFarmConnect.

4.    Click the SWAP MAPS tile.

5.    Click the Get connected button to begin the integration process.

6.    Click Continue to accept the terms of consent.

7.    Click Continue again to temporarily leave AgExpert and to connect to the SWAT MAPS portal. 

8.    Enter your SWAT MAPS login information and one-time password and sign-in to your account.

9.    Click Allow access to authenticate the connection between SWAT MAPS and AgExpert.

10.    Returning to AgExpert Field, click More on the left, click the Update button. Select one more farms you wish to associate with SWAT Maps and click Continue. 

11.    Here you will be able to see and import the data captured in SWAT MAPS. The data captured in SWAT MAPS can be re-used to enter data and save you time. 

12.    AgExpert Field can import the field data as they exist in SWAT MAPS. You can use this feature to import new fields entirely or select “existing” to match a field and update the field boundary. Take note that you can only import a new field once. Double check the data and when you are done click the Import selected fields button below or Skip to activities button. 

13.    Click the Skip to activities button to start importing activities. First, we need to click the Review button in each row and make sure that we’ve mapped an input to that activity. You can add the input on the fly and then select it. You will have to enter the applied rate in this window. Click Save.

14.    AgExpert Field will attempt to automatically match all other activities using the same input to save you time. From here you can click Import selected activities below to import the selected activities or continue to throw the list and do them all at once. Once they have been imported, they will disappear from the list and show up in your Activities reports.
