Importing Field Boundaries from John Deere
You can import your activities and fields from John Deere for a crop year if they are your John Deere Operations Center.
Click on More on the left menu and MyFarmConnect.
Click the John Deere tile.

Click on the Get connected button.
Click Continue on the slide out and the following pop-up.
Sign into the John Deere Operations Center using your credentials with them.
Click on the Update button.
Choose the Organization you wish to update using the drop-down menu and click Continue.
After sign-in, you will see a page showing data available to be imported, including Fields, Inputs and Activites. It will show the number of each available to be imported. You can click on each of the three icons to see that section.
To import data from the Operations Center, select the box on the left-hand side for each field you want to import.
You can add Fields as New or Existing.
If adding as new, you will see the field name from the Operation Center on the left, and the imported name to the right. If you wish, you can change the name by typing in a new name.
If you adding as new, it will import boundaries and you can use the drop-down menu to select if the fields are Owned or Rented.
Clicking the Ignore button will move it to the Ignored tab.
If adding info to existing fields, select the field you are matching to from the drop-down list.
You can choose to update the boundaries to the selected fields using the drop-down.
You can choose if the imported field is Owned or Rented.
You can filter your list of fields using the drop-down menus at the top.
Once you have selected the fields you want to import and the various options, click the Update selected and next button to move to inputs import screen. If you don’t wish to import any information on your fields, you can instead click Skip.
When adding Inputs, you can import Fertilizer information or Crop Protection Products. To import data from the Operations Center, select the box on the left-hand side for each field you want to import.
The input name from Operations Center is displayed on the left. Use the Add to AgExpert as drop-down to select if the input is a Fertilizer or a Crop Protection Product.
If adding as a fertilizer, use the drop-down menu to match to a fertilizer you already have entered in Field. If it does not exist, click Add a new fertilizer to add it on the fly.
If adding a crop protection product, use the drop-down menu to match to a crop protection product you already have entered in Field. If it does not exist, click Add a new product to add it on the fly.
You can click Ignore on the right-hand side to skip any individual inputs you don’t want to import. They will be moved to the Ignored Inputs tab.
Once you have selected the inputs you want to import and the various options, click the Update selected and next button to move to the activities import screen. If you don’t wish to import any information from your inputs, you can instead click Skip.
To add activities, select the box on the left for each activity you are importing.
If you see a warning icon on the left hand side, you will not be able to import the activity until missing information has been completed. If you hover your cursor over the button with the icon you will see information about what is incomplete. For example, if there is a missing input, clicking the Link input button will take you back to Inputs section to add the input.
If an application method is missing for a fertilizer, use the drop-down menu to add.
On the right hand side you will see the rate and area the input has been applied to based on the Operation Center data. If necessary, you can change the data.
You can click Ignore on the right-hand side to skip any individual activities you don’t want to import. They will be moved to the Ignored Activities tab.
Once you have selected all the activities you want to import, select Update selected in the bottom right corner to complete the import.
