Calculating vacation pay in Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Saskatchewan
British Columbia, Newfoundland and Saskatchewan consider vacation pay to be a part of wages. Calculate vacation pay by multiplying the gross pay by 4% and adding this amount to the gross pay. This new amount is multiplied by 4% for the actual vacation pay amount.
In all other provinces, AgExpert Analyst calculates vacation pay by multiplying gross by rate.
