Importing records
You can import .fml files that you’ve received from your growers. These files contain field records, storage location cleaning records, equipment cleaning records and storage location treatment records. To import the records successfully, ensure that your growers use a compatible version of Field Manager PRO when they create their .fml file.
To import a grower’s .fml file:
- Select Import Records from the Records menu or from the main toolbar. The Choose file to importdialogue box appears.
- Locate the grower’s .fml file on your computer. Double-click the .fml file or select it and click Open.
- Click Import. The records in the grower’s .fml file will be imported into Field Manager Commercial and available for reporting.
-
Note: When growers export an .fml file from Field Manager PRO, they must choose a date range for the records. The date range is stamped in their .fml file. When Field Manager Commercial imports the .fml file, it checks for any existing records for the grower and date range. If existing records are found, you’re warned that those records will be replaced with the corresponding records in the new file.
