Memorizing transactions
By memorizing a transaction, you can save a transaction for later use and create templates for recurring transactions such as loan payments, lease payments, bank charges and utility bills. The Transaction Entryand Point of Sale dialogue boxes provide this option.
To memorize a transaction:
- Select Transaction Entry or Point of Sale from the Transactions menu depending on the type oftransaction you’re memorizing.
- Enter the transaction information.
- Click the to open the Add Memorized Transaction dialogue box.
- Enter a Name for the transaction, for example, “monthly power bill” or “truck loan payment”.
- Click Save and Record. The transaction is recorded and memorized.
To load a memorized transaction:
- Select Transaction Entry or Point of Sale from the Transactions menu depending on the type of the transaction you’re loading.
- Click the icon to open the Select Memorized Transaction dialogue box.
- Select the transaction you want to load and click Select. The memorized transaction will load in theTransaction Entry or Point of Sale dialogue box.
- Edit the transaction, if needed.
- Click Record. The transaction is recorded.
