Recording a personal deposit to a farm chequing account

To record a personal deposit to a farm chequing account:

  1. Select Transaction Entry from the Transactions menu.
  2. Enter the following:
  3. Enter the transaction details:
  4. The document should be balanced. Click Recap to view the balanced debit and credit entries. ClickRecord to record the document.

The deposit will increase the bank account and the advances equity account. The income statement won’t be affected by this transaction.
